I have recently pondered creating a new computer with:
Processor - $205
http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-2500K-Processor-1155/dp/B004EBUXHQ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=RZUEK4NGX0QI&coliid=I2UJ3IZH3DZX44
Hard Drive - $105
http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-2-5-Inch-Solid-State-CT128M4SSD2/dp/B004W2JKZI/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=RZUEK4NGX0QI&coliid=I24H3A3CYC9TC2
Case - $60
http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Tower-Case-RC-912-KKN1/dp/B003ZM7YTA/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=RZUEK4NGX0QI&coliid=I1CQ1HT0EKLQSH
Disk Drive - $17
http://www.amazon.com/Asus-24xDVD-RW-Serial-Internal-DRW-24B1ST/dp/B0033Z2BAQ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=RZUEK4NGX0QI&coliid=I1X0JBEBPAMLW2
RAM - $50
http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-240-Pin-Platforms-CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9/dp/B004CRSM4I/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=RZUEK4NGX0QI&coliid=IT4LDP16GGENO
Power Supply - $60
http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Certified-Compatible-Platforms-CMPSU-600CXV2/dp/B004W2T2UQ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=RZUEK4NGX0QI&coliid=I3VVXHNZ76MG0C
[This can be changed to a higher voltage one if any of you thinks so, I won't be overclocking out of the box, but might later in the future]
My question is how good does a motherboard have to be? The current one I am going to be using is a
Gigabit one:
http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-CrossFireX-NVIDIA-Motherboard-GA-Z77X-UD5H/dp/B007R21JK4/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=RZUEK4NGX0QI&coliid=I2WLXTPR0BW1IB
Which was recommended to me by someone on these forums, But wouldn't this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128498
Work just as well? All I'm really looking for in a motherboard is built in soundcard (not the best) support for my RAM, usb 2.0, dont need 3.0, hdmi outlet, and ethernet outlet. I would also appreciate if it would be compatible with a good graphics card (yet to be found.)Thanks ahead of time.
