Hiya,
I have a Packard Bell ixtreme M5722 about 18 months old and am trying to figure out a decent upgrade for the graphics card.

PSU: Jeantech JN120F-600AP 12v2 600W (old and needing upgrade, suggestions also?)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 220 1GB
MoBo: Acer G43T-AM v2.0
6GB Ram
Monitor Resolution: 1680x1050

The only game we really play is World of Warcraft, and the system seems to be struggling lately.

Budget isn't really a big problem but probably looking around £300ish

I was looking at SAPPHIRE ATI Radeon HD 5850 but then realised I need to find out what else would need upgrading or if I could even jump to this with my system...

Any help appreciated, ta much

If you want to spend the 300 £, you could also choose the following:

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-asus-hd-6950-oc-pci-e-21-(x16)-5000mhz-gddr5-gpu-810mhz-1408-cores-2x-mdp-2x-dvi-hdmi

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/520w-seasonic-m12ii-520-modular-80-plus-bronze-87-eff-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-120mm-fan

Total: 270 £

Also you can try to find the 5850 Sapphire Xtreme,it is really cheap arround 100 £, and it has more performance than a 6850¡.

Just looking at ordering card, have a concern that the cards suggested - both the 6850 and the 6950 don't look like they'll fit in my case - I have a mini tower, and it would seem the 6950 needs a LOT of space.
Have tried finding an alternative but it's so confusing!

Small size card with best performance pls? money is fast not becoming an issue, just want to play some games! :bounce:
