Does this build sound good to you? (help a newbie)

Forum Systems : Homebuilt Does this build sound good to you? (help a newbie)

So I am building a PC to tote off to college, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for my build. I have some experience building PCs, but not much with picking and making sure components work together. Especially the motherboard and RAM :??:

Approximate Purchase Date: this week

Budget Range: $1200 to $1300

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, downloading, programming, general usage, movies

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Country of Origin: US

Parts Preferences: The goal is to stick with an Intel Sandy Bridge, but besides that no preferences

Overclocking: possible in the future, which is why I am going to get the "k" version

SLI or Crossfire: not in the near future

Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1080

Additional Comments: Would a CPU cooler (or more fans on the case) be useful? I heard that the stock coolers are not too great. I know next to nothing about this. Could you give some advice on good coolers if they are recommended?
