Hey, guys! I just installed a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus from the stock Intel cooler on my core i3 530 and WOW! Huge difference, but anyhow the dual fans on it seem to contradict each other. One fan will run at 1400rpm and the other at 400rpm. I've had bad experience in the past with speedfan handling my fan controls but does anyone know what programs are good or should I just stick with speedfan? -thanks

I use the board bios to control the cpu fan speed; most newer boards have smartfan settings. I run the smartfan configurator program and it sets the maximum speed for the fan and determines the best settings, then I set it to "quiet" mode when available. I haven't tried speedfan; the most important criteria for me is quiet, but if you're concerned with cooling, I would list your temps at idle and under load.
