Hi guys, I am going to build my first PC in a few months (November) :bounce:

After researching many components I have almost completed my selection process. I have a brother-in-law who is quite knowledgeable with PC construction,so I am sure I'll be fine putting the pieces together (with his guidance of course). However, what tools will I need to ensure a successful build. I already have the basics nailed;

Anti-Static Wrist Strap
Anti-Static Grounding Mat (for workstation)

I am leery in purchasing an all-in-one PC Tool Kit,as I have heard the quality of tools are poor. So any information on mandatory tools to get the job done would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,Togan

All that is actually required is a phillips head screw driver. Some thermal paste is usually required if you have an aftermarket heat sink, but the stock version comes with it already applied. I don't think you need both a wrist strap and grounding mat. As long as you regularly touch the metal of your case you should be fine, but better safe than sorry.
