i was wondering if the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H motherboard (which is the one i want to buy) will fit with the CPU cooler i want to buy (the Coolermaster Hyper 212) without touching or breaking the RAM, it seems to be a tight fit (thats what she sed, hahaha)
Anyone knows if this cooler will fit on the motherboard without touching the RAM?
and, do you know any 8gb (2x4) 1600mhz RAM that is compatible with the motherboard? im not sure if mine is
I recommend 1.5v 1333 or 1600 ram; try the low profile ram if you have any clearance issues with the heatsink or video card. I use gskill ripjaws, but also recommend crucial, corsair, kingston, and pny. You may ocassionally get a bad stick, but most post issues are operator error related.
Some others any of these as well as the ones i mentioned above will be compatible and not conflict with your aftermarket cooler RAM:Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 996995 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
