Hello I'm fairly new on computers and would like to buy my own first gaming pc or rather if you suggest, I can also try to build my own but my budget is no more than $1500.
I need some help on deciding which option is the best...

1st OPTION
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T six core 2.8GHz
Asus AM3 (I'm still trying to ask the owner what model)
8G DDR3 1333MHz SDRAM
2 TB
500W PSU
Radeon HD 5770 Video Card - 1GB GDDR5
Cost: $750

2nd OPTION
AMD 965 Black Edition quad core 3.4 GHz
Asus 880g chipset
8GB DDR3 1333MHz Gskill ripjaw
1 TB
500W PSU
Radeon HD 5670 512MB
Cost: $650

3rd OPTION
Intel Core i7 950 - 3.06GHz
6 GB DDR3 ADATA RAM
1 TB
650W PSU
Radeon (Owner wasn't sure about the graphics card but he said it can run GTA IV fine)
Comes with a 19' monitor and basic accessories
Cost: $1000

So if you have some time please let me know your opinion on what you would get and I'll try to dish out some more information if I can, Thanks.

Solution
1.) 6 cores is unnecessary for gaming,
2.) 5670 is a very underpowered card for your range
3.) i7 950 is old tech, sandy bridge is the way to go now.

All in all if you want to build yourself there are great how to's all over. there are 3 videos on this page, as well as a plethora of how to's if you google it.

My recommendation for you is. i5 2500k. Radeon 6950 1GB. corsair 750W psu. and everything else is up to your preference i guess.

If you are looking for a place to buy, I heard CustomPCandRepairs.com is really good if you call them or email them or something

Yea after looking over it maybe building my own pc would be best. I'll take your recommendation and study a bit more and see where to take off from there.
Thanks!
