Hi,

I have 4x2gb of Corsair Dominator 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 (CMP4GX3M2B1600C8) that I've installed in a ga-x79-ud3 MB. In the BIOS the memory i detected as 1333mhz 9-9-11-24. If i try to manualy set them to the rated speed, the computer freeze. The voltage is set to 1,5V. I've tried to increase the voltage to 1,55V with the same result...

when set to 1333mhz 9-9-11-24, the computer works perfectly. Ran Prime95 for 12hrs without problems.

Anyone have an idea what I can do to fix this?

PC specs:
ga-x79-ud3 BIOS ver. F11
Intel i7-3820
Sapphire 6970.
4x2gb dominator
60gb SSD
Corsair HX750
CM hyper 212 evo

That memory takes 1.65v, not 1.5v. Set the voltage correctly and it will probably work fine.

Also, a pair of dual channel kits does not make a quad channel kit. You should be running an actual quad channel kit instead.
