Worth an upgrade?

Hey,

My specs are :
i5 650 CPU - Stock
Foxconn P55A mobo
4GB 2x2gb 1333 ram
HIS 6950 2GB
Antec HCG 750W Psu

In a few games I've been playing ive noticed fps dropping to low 30's from a solid 100. I didn't get it on BF3 Beta however is noticed it on Dirt 3 and TF2. I read up about problems with TF2 and read it was a CPU intensive game, no idea why Dirt was playing up though ( is that a bad one too? ) I'm looking to get an eyefinity in the future and i'm just wondering if it is the CPU that's holding it back? in TF2 the GPU was on about 17% and i believe the CPU was on about 80% when i caught it. I've been looking into the i5 2500k as its all hype about it at the moment, Is it worth me waiting until after Xmas or whenever Ivy or SE is released to get it? Hopefully Intel won't be miserable gits and keep the prices the same :3

No way should you be getting a cpu bottleneck in those games. How often are the frame rate drops?

Use some good monitoring software to figure out what's bottlenecking when. MSI afterburner for the GPU, task manager's graph for the cpu is a good option.

It could be the games are reaching into the pagefile, that is memory used up.

everytime as soon as i get into some action it will drop to about 50-30fps from a usual 150 or something in the spawn :l
