Hi All
I am having trouble keeping connected to my LAN. Thinkpad network
drivers for XP seem to have broken somehow but I can't restore them
well enough to get it working again. I sometimes get a "tunnel" but no
ip # from the netgear router. I have 2 of these laptops .. I am typing
on one right now that has no problems. I have tried "ipconfig /release
renew ... I have rebooted and restarted again and again.
I also tried booting from "morphix" but the network will not setup
automatically ... and fails installation anyway
The laptop I am using now has Win2K not XP so I can;t copy over ...
even if I did know what files to copy where ???

Google for winsockxpfix.exe. Run it to fix the layered network services
and restore connectivity.
