I was going to build a new PC based around the 2500k and a GTX 570 and 8gb ram. For now, I will only use one 570, however, down the road I may upgrade to another 570.

I was looking at power supplies, and was wondering if this is a good part? I need to keep the price down, because I am trying to not get too expensive with my build.

I haven't seen many OCZ PSU's reviewed well . Example:

Compare that with the FX Black 750

If ya tryin to keep the budget down, compare the 560 Ti (900MHz) and the 570 and consider if its worth the extra cost.

Guru3D uses the following games in their test suite, COD-MW, Bad Company 2, Dirt 2, Far Cry 2, Metro 2033, Dawn of Discovery, Crysis Warhead. Total fps (summing fps in each game @ 1920 x 1200) for the various options in parenthesis (single card / SL or CF) are tabulated below along with their cost in dollars per frame single card - CF or SLI:

$ 205.00 560 Ti - 900 Mhz (495 fps /862 fps in SLI) $ 0.41 - $ 0.48
$ 320.00 570 (524 fps / 873 fps in SLI) $ 0.61 - $ 0.73

Okay, I plan to wait on the really good power supply until I SLI. So, how much power should I have for a 2500k, GTX 570, and 8gb ram, and 1 hdd.

How much power would you recommend for that?

The OCZ ModXstream 700W is not going to support a build with two GTX 570s. This is because it doesn't have enough PCIe connectors (four are required, the MXS700 only has two) and you would be using up all the 4pin peripheral connectors to use adapters.

Either of these would be better:
XFX Pro 650W Core Edition 80Plus Bronze $90 ($6 shipping)

OCZ ZS Series 750W 80Plus Bronze $100 ($25 rebate)

Strangely one of many OCZ power supply series which have been positively reviewed in the last year or so.

Okay here are my options.

1. Gigabyte GTX 570 + CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W $378
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.752695

2. EVGA SuperClocked GTX570 + CORSAIR Professional Series HX650 650w $400
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.752728

3. EVGA SuperClocked GTX 570 + Thermaltake TR2 RX 750W $ 380
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.750057

4. MSI GTX 570 + CORSAIR Professional Series HX650 $370
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.752727

Or I can just get the GPU and the PSU separate, which will loose me some money on combo discounts.

EDIT: Upon further review I have decided to get my GPU and my PSU separate, getting a good discount by buying my case and PSU together. I decided on the Cooler Master Storm Scout w/ a Cooler Master RS700 700w power supply.
