SABERTOOTH B3 P67 Boot Failure

Hi, i just completed putting this spec together:

PSU: OCZ MODXSTREAM PRO 600 WATT
CPU: INTEL CORE I5 3450 3.1GHZ 6MB S-1155 IVY
Ram: CORSAIR 8GB DDR3 XMS3 PC3-12800 1600MHZ CL9 (2X4GB)
MB: ASUS SABERTOOTH B3 P67 S-1155 ATX
GPU: ASUS GEFORCE GTX 560 DCII TOP 1GB PCI-E DVI/HDMI

The problem is that I can't get it to boot.
When I press the power button, the CPU LED blinks red and the cpu fan spins for about 1 sec, then the whole system shuts off, then restarts, to no avail. All the other leds seem to be ok. All the psu are connected correctly to the motherboard - including the one that provides power to the cpu.

When i remove the 8-pin power supply to the cpu - the CPU LED constantly blinks red and the whole systems seems to be running nonstop - though nothing displaying on screen as one can expect.

I'm wondering, might it be that my psu is too low - 600W with this spec? Tried with my older psu - but didnt give me any answers since it is even lower.

Any help would be appreciated.

  4. Btw. I just checked the list on ASUS stating:

    Core i5-3450 (3.1G,L3:6M,iGPU,4C,VT-d,77W,rev.E1)

My board is REV 3.0. Shouldnt it already be updated, or doesnt it have anything to do with the bios?
