This is my first time building a PC. I'm trying to build a strong gaming computer that will last a couple years atleast before needing to be upgraded. All the parts I found are on newegg.com. This is what I have so far:

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I52500K

Optical Drive: ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM
Bundled with CPU: $239.98

CPU fan: CORSAIR CWCH60 Hydro Series H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
$69.98

MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
$129.99

GPU: EVGA SuperClocked 015-P3-1582-AR GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support
$499.99

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9
$79.99

HDD: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
$64.99

PSU: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W ATX12V v2.31/ EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power ...
$144.99

Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 650D (CC650DW-1) Black Steel structure with black brushed aluminum faceplate ATX Mid Tower Computer
$199.99

Total: $1429.60 and with rebates it is $1362.90

How does that look? Should I change some parts, can I do better in some areas? Is it a strong machine?
For the moniter, I have either the Samsung Syncmaster P2370HD or the Syncmaster B2030.
I still need to buy speakers, keyboard and mouse, and a headset. If anyone can recommend an affordable quality product for these, it would be great.
Also, any suggestions, comments, and criticism is greatly appreciated for the PC build.
Thanks!!!

Should I invest in some other cooling options? Do I have to buy more fans for the case?
Also, some people say to get a ssd for booting windows. How would I set that up?
