My daughter has an IBM Thinkpad A22e (type 2655-27U)
Her hard drive (15 Gig) is dying and needs replacement. Her OS is Win
98SE (and 128 MB RAM).
I would appreciate suggestions on a good place to buy a "Generic" hard
drive replacement.
In addition, IBM will not provide the system recovery disks--including
Win 98 SE or anything else--saying she can later download the needed IBM
access software (and BIOS) once a HD and OS are installed.
Any other suggestions on OS and such would be most welcome.
Thanks
Mahl

Just about any store that sells computer hardware will have notebook hard
drives, CompUSA and Best Buy come to mind. If you prefer an online purchase
I would recommend newegg.com.
