Nervous about first build, Need advice

Hi,

I am putting together a system for my dad and all he does is play Wow and surfs the net, thats it. I am trying to use some of the parts from his old pc and would like to know if you guys think this would work.

These are the parts I have to buy,

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156226

Mobo & CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.681826

Parts he has I would like to reuse,

Seagate Barracuda 7200 rpm hard drive
He has a cd/dvd drive not sure on brand.
He has some off brand PSU called Imicro 500 watt
A Saphire HD4850 graphics card.
Corsair xms3 ddr3 1333 ram 2 sticks of 2 gigs each.

I know its not anything special, but do you think this would work since he only gave me 200.00 to work with.

Any advice would be appreciated

  1. I think you are good to go ahead. All the parts seems good to work with your new combination of CPU/mobo and casing.
