I have an Intel Dual core E2180 @ 2.0 Ghz, a biostar g31m7te motherboard with 3Gb ddr2 ram, a PSU which suppports 460W and a samsung syncmaster 733nw with maximum resolution 1440*900. My question is will it support palit nvidia gtx 460 1Gb ddr5?

please help....

Your system is going to bottleneck the gtx 460 1gb unless you over-clock the cpu, also the cpu scales more then the card does at 1440x900 1920x1080 you would notice less of a bottleneck.

If the PSU is modern then that should work fine. The only issue here is your CPU is not the most powerful so if you can overclock it you will reduce the bottleneck on the GPU.

You need to overclock your CPU. Not change your mobo.

The daul core E2180, can really bottleneck that GTX 460, so its best you overclock it.
