ASRock 775 G31M-GS

A capacitor on my msi motherboard blew up and I'm looking to buy the SRock 775 G31M-GS, I know my core2duo 6300 I know is the right socket for it and I have a brand new gt440 gpu and 500watt psu but its the ram I am not sure about its PC2 4200/4300 ddr2 dimm 2GB will it fit the asrock mobo?

DDR2 800/667 240 pin. it should work but i would recommend getting pc2 6400 if you can
