Beeping motherboard

Basically to cut the story short I wanted to check my RAM size of my computer so I opened it up took out the RAM and put it back in and then once I turned on the computer the screen wouldn't come on and the BIOS would not show(No boot at all). It also beeps 1 short then one long and so on. I bought a new RAM ddr3 1333mhz and it still carried on beeping. Can somebody please help me. BTW model is sg3 120 uk and I have an intergrated ATI radeon 3000 graphics card. Also power comes on as normal
