Beeping motherboard

Basically to cut the story short I wanted to check my RAM size of my computer so I opened it up took out the RAM and put it back in and then once I turned on the computer the screen wouldn't come on and the BIOS would not show(No boot at all). It also beeps 1 short then one long and so on. I bought a new RAM ddr3 1333mhz and it still carried on beeping. Can somebody please help me. BTW model is sg3 120 uk and I have an intergrated ATI radeon 3000 graphics card. Also power comes on as normal

  1. You may not have the ram seated all the way into the slot. Be sure the motherboard is sitting flat when you press on the ram sticks and not sideways.
