Ip address lose the ip of dns server

You need to state more clearly what you want. Meanwhile.....check TCP/IP Properties.

Start, Connect To, Connection, Properties, Scroll Down TCP/IP and highlight, click Properties and check that Obtain DNS and IP address automatically are enabled.

by then it wont be connected to server with the selected ip address which it should be.

this is myblem in detail
Im new to networking stuff It would be appreciable helping me
I have desktop case connected to server but connection to server suddenly is lost .
I checked the network wire nothing wrong

when using cmd & typing ipconfig it result that
it showed ip address for the computer & subnet mask
It showd the seond p address something like fe80::20f.. where it must show the ip address of server connected to

Plz I need help ?does this relate to network card or what ? How to solve
