I'm building a machine with an i5-3570. I won't be gaming on it at all and I don't have any video-heavy applications; I will use either onboard video or an old GT 430 that I have. I'm looking at the following two motherboards (both mATX):

ASRock H67M ($70): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-157-233
ASRock Z77 Pro4-M ($110): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157306

This computer is for my dad and he will never overclock, so I think the H67 platform will be fine, but I'm wondering what the advantages might be of the Z77. Thanks in advance.

i saw the other thread.
ASRock B75M $64.99
if your dad is not overclocking it really would not benefit him to get a Z77 motherboard and an H67 board may or may not be shipped with an updated BIOS to support an ivy cpu.
