Which grapich card should i go for?my budget is rs 10000.
my screen supports a max resolution of 1680X1050.
so i want to run games like gta4 on full resolution.
i am available with gtx 460 zotack i.e. for rs10000 should i buy it or buy other one if so then which one?

If you want something like video encoding and performance other than gaming, go to gtx 460, if not than go with 6850 (only for gaming)....

On average the GTX 465 is worse however, it is also a heat machine and older technology.

For your resolution,both gtx 460 and hd 6850 are great.It is hard chosing between them but I suggest you to go for a 6850.If you will overclock ,then you should go for an MSI R6850 Cyclone.It can be clocked above 1ghz!!! and can match the performance of an hd 6870.

I could not find your type of currency maybe you meant to say RSD Serbian Dinar ? 10,000 RSD are around 144 USD. with that you can buy GTX 550 just for 4 usd more, or GTS 450, or HD 5770 or HD5850 or 6670. these cards are good enough for your resolution. Also correct me if your currency is different I would like to know. Thank you

You can't compare it like that _Pez_ becuase a card over there could be overpriced by our terms, e.g. a GTX 550 might be 60 USD more when you do a direct comparison. You can't compare the prices to ours, they will be cheaper here.

If you can find throw me some websites with computers parts over there so I can look at prices I can help you easily.

And overclock means to runs a peice of harder at higher clock rate "basically make it faster", than it was originally intended to do.

However the important thing that you must keep in mind while running GTA IV is what CPU you have as it is limited by the CPU.GTA IV will need a quad core CPU to be playable without lags.

BTW, what PSU(power supply unit) do you have?

The wattage does not matter, what matters is whether it can deliver that wattage.

In India, all brands are more or less the same in terms of warranty.EVGA is hard to find, but ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE,Zotac, Point of View will do but I'd avoid anything from Palit.
