I appreciate any suggestions or comments about incompatibilities you may find.
I am replacing my old computer to run games smoother (currently at 1920x1080 in 3d -- possibly 3 monitor set up later on 5760x1080 or prepare for 4kx2k resolution)

Parts I already have:

MOBO: Biostar ta890fxe http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/mb/content.php?S_ID=482
PSU: 1000w Cooler Master rs-a00-emba
RAM: 4 x 2GB (8gb) DDR3 1600 (7-7-7-24.... random brand komputer-bay?..off ebay)
HDD: wd 1tb 7200 rpm 32mb cache SATA II
OS: windows 7 64-bit
OPTICAL DRIVES: lite-on bluray /dvd/cd reader & hp dvd-rw drive

NEW PARTS:
CPU: Amd 1100t BE
GFX CARDS: 2X HIS IceQ X Turbo 6950 2GB @1280MHZ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161372
CASE: Cooler Master HAF 932 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119160
CPU FAN/HEATSINK/COOLANT: Cooler Master hyper 212 76.8CFM @ 32dB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065

I will upgrade my hard drives later too. Would 4x Hitachi SATA III 64mb cache 7200 rpm drives in Raid 0 or 0/1 or 5 be better than getting an SSD for boot and two large drives for media?

thanks for the suggestion. I already bought the ram and I think it's fine tbh, but that gpu does look like it has better cooling. Both cards have 5 eggs on newegg though ;p.

the SSD would be faster reading than Raid and should write faster also.

for stability - Samsung 470 series (sata 3gb)

For speed Crucial M4 or OCZ Vertex 3 (Sata 6GB)

definitely get the 2GB version of the 6950! chillin15 picked a good one.
