$70 - below H61 motherboard?

I need a reliable, most popular choice H61 motherboard

Intel Core i3-2120
1TB WD Blue
Asrock H61M-DGS
G.Skill Ripjaws 1333 DDR3 8GB 2x4GB
Antec VP450
Radeon HD 7750

Is
Asrock H61M-DGS good enough?

  1. The asrock will work fine. It's a good value in that price range.

What about this ASUS P8H61-M LX Plus?

Is it better? And can I use the Radeon HD 7750?

No. the asus board isn't better, just more expensive. The asrock will run your 7750 just fine with the right power supply. Check to see what is required for the 7750 in watts; I recommend antec, corsair, ocz, seasonic, enermax, and some rosewill models for the ps. If you want a better board, go with a Z77 chipset board which will run ivy bridge cpus without a bios flash and overclock "k" cpus; the h61 is fine for basic stuff without overclocking.

Well I am never going to do any overclocking, is there any chipset better at doing that than the H61?
