System review before purchase!

This is going to be my very first gaming rig and has a price tag I can reach. I wanted a community opinion on it before I ordered, as I'm relatively new to rig building but I did a little bit of homework on benchmarks and such. I already have a case, peripherals, HDD, etc. These are the only major components left that I need.

  1. If you have the budget I would recommend changing the Graphics card to the GTX 560 Ti. The GTX 460 is already an outdated series, but not in performance. Performance wise it is still pretty good, but ti wont last you as long as the GTX 560 Ti.

OK I can easily see some changes to be made. First off you have a board meant to run a single vid card, yet you chose a psu that can run two of those cards...and you chose a modular one at that. Also that Zalman h/s is over priced and yesterday's technology. The heat sinks on that Corsair RAM are going to screw you also in regards to using slots 1 and 3 seeing how those heat sinks are good for combing your hair but that's about it.

If this is a gaming rig then you need to think about FPS aka vid card. Here's some options down below that will get you into a better vid card while staying in your budget. Also that CM 212+ cpu h/s down below comes with decent thermal paste, so if you go with that one no need to order extra. As far as thermal paste goes, Arctic Silver is over priced at $12 a tube. You seriously need to think about upping your vid card to a gtx 560 ti or even the 560. Again put your $$ to where it's going to do you some good.
