I will be taking an ancient Sonly laptop on a trip to Australia next month.
I checked out the adapter/converter power combo at Office Depot and noticed
that it said it was not to be used with electronics like TV's, Computers,
VCR's.

Why does it say that? It's rated up to 1600W. Can I get away with using
it on the Sony anyway?
