I have just started building my first ever computer. I have all of my items here except for my graphics card and my case. My graphics case is scheduled to arrive on Monday. However, my graphics card is not scheduled to ship until mid June for whatever reason on Amazon.com. I would really like to get my computer up and running because I will be using it for my college summer session. My question is, do I wait until mid-June to get my graphics card I had origionally ordered, or do I get a different one? This is the one I ordered:
I have heard many great things about this card, and it was actually recommended to me by the community on this site. Is there a card that is of equal or better gaming quality that I can get for around the same price? I'd say not more than $15 higher in price if I had to go higher.
Its a 5850 and a its a good price! I'd get that one! There aren't many left on newegg, cheapeast was 190 if I recall correctly, thats why I didn't link one.
Thank you for the feedback, but I have a nooby question. I really don't know a whole lot about computer part compatibilities. That being said, is the 5850 link I posted compatible with my mobo and everything else?
To be honest I didn't even look, but now that I have, you should pick out a different PSU! Regardless of that, yes it is compatible with that motherboard.
