I connected my computer to my HDTV via hdmi and it didn't recognize my TV. Went into the Nvidia Control Panel and found that it is reading dvi connector type. My Tv is 3 years old, but has hdmi. Why doesn't it recognize the hdmi? The control panel doesn't give the option to switch over to hdmi.

what cable are you using? HDMI/DVI, HDMI/miniHDMI? update all your drivers. You should know that theres no noticeable difference between the two.

I have a program called PC Wizard, gives you the specs of your hardware. I looked at the specs of my card and tells me this:
External Connectors :
Connector Type : DVI-I - (Place : Socketed)
Connector Type : DVI-I - (Place : Socketed)

It doesn't show the mini hdmi connector.
