sorry if this is wrong place so i have a motherboard with dual channel.. i can put there ddr2 ram and ddr3 ram but the confusing part is that motherboard has this text

ddr2 - 1066
ddr3- 1600

so i must buy ddr3 ram that have 1600mhz? or still i can buy ddr3 ram with 1333mhz? i dont really want to spend money on that i cant put it in..

You can use the DDR 1333MHz; the 1600 was the highest speed the board is rated to use. And 1600 RAM is overclocked 1333 RAM anyway.

Check your manual, the boards that were built for DDR2 and DDR3 were not set up to use both types at the same time.
