Hi,
I was building my PC and after inserting HDD I moved onto the DVD drive. How do I fit it in? The power supply stops me from inserting in the back and I cant seem to get the front of the case or just the front of the DVD part of the case. It seems there is the main metal bit but the front is plastic. I searched for over half an hour and can't seem to find any clips the remove the front or screws. Am I missing something really obvious? Thanks. I've googled extensively and cant find how to get it in.
Thanks

My Case -

Solution
Question - do i need to remove the front part of the case where the DVD would come out? or leave it. Its got a door and button so i dont see why I couldnt leave it. But then seems odd to have the drives door and button followed by another.

What ever looks the best.
When you open it up, on both sides and possibly the top you should see plastic tabs from the front of the case sticking through the metal and locking in, release those and the front should pop off and allow you to put it in from the front. Most cases are front insertion as long as the front panel comes off.

You will need to remove the front panel to fit the DVD drive there is no other way. Normally a front panel is held on with clips inside the case but as the advert makes a point of mentioning “clip on front panel “ it may be a simple case of simply unclipping the front panel (normally from the side) which will bring out the front panel on a crude hinge. Why don’t you post some pictures of the case with the sides off?

No sign of clips. There are these black holes that stick out (like screws) of the metal bit and i can fit a pencil through to touch the back of the front plastic bit.

Anyway photos are uploading to some strange google image uploading program. I'll link when they are done.

Right, this is how I did it.
Because of the "easy to remove clip on front panel"
I tried to take off the other side but it didnt work.
I un screwed the screws connecting the metal bit on one side. Then did the bottom on the othherside. couldnt reach the fourth but it fell as I pulled. I now put the Drive in but can only put the 3 screws in, cant find where the fourth goes. but it seems ok.

Question - do i need to remove the front part of the case where the DVD would come out? or leave it. Its got a door and button so i dont see why I couldnt leave it. But then seems odd to have the drives door and button followed by another.
