PARTS PREFERENCES: No prefference...quality/ price is most important. ATM I have ATI and I'm happy with it.

OVERCLOCKING: moderate SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION:1280x1024, 1600x1200, 1920x1200)

I was adviced on going for a 6850, just trying to find out which one is the best if this is the good choice.

That Chieftec PSU of yours is old, so I cant find proper reviews of it now(or perhaps I'm being lazy).But it should be able to run a HD 5850.

That Corsair PSU is a good choice for a PSU upgrade.
