ZT i7-2600 sleep problem h67 board

I installed Western Digital drive (WD20EARS) and created an image with backup on it. My system is set not to sleep automatically. When I manually put it to sleep it will not wake. It tries, but gets stuck. I the have to manually shut down and re-boot. Any suggestions?
