SSD being intermittently detected

Hi all,

Here's my build:

Motherboard: ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3
HD: OCZ Agility 3 SATA III 2.5" SSD
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Heatspreader 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz CL8 DIMMs (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8) (Not on mobo QVL)
PSU: Corsair Gaming Series GS700

My problem:
Basically my SSD drive is intermittently being detected by my motherboard. Whenever I would completely cut the power off my system, leave it for a few hours and power it on again, the motherboard will not detect my SSD. I will then completely cut the power again, wait a few minutes, turn on the computer and the SSD will be detected and boot to the Ubuntu 10.04 OS that installed to it.

I haven't updated the bios and that might or might not fix the issue but does
anyone else have any idea?

known problem with the SSD, thats why it has a 3-egg rating on newegg.

I see Well, that sort of made me feel good I guess.

Any workaround for this?
