Upgrade Laptop Video

Hello,

I am looking for a place to buy a 1GB DDRD3 ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 5650 switchable graphics card but have been unable to find any mobile cards available at retail.

Where can I buy a mobile graphics card?

Nope.

Reason is I have a pretty expensive laptop that was given to me and has the option to have this card installed at the factory. The original owner didnt order it with the upgraded video and now I would like it.

lots of good info on here and you will be able to find which version mxm video card you have (lets hope you have MXM V.3 you could get a 6970 for that lol) http://www.mxm-upgrade.com/
then go on ebay and look up what ever mxm version you have
