Hey all!

So I bought a Motherboad the P8z77-v Pro today and decided i was going to install it. So I installed it in my Coolermaster HAF X tower nothing went wrong.

The inside is bare the Motherboard is the only component in it nothing else. I am worried that static ruined it because I didn't have one of those grounding bracelets because I'm probably going to use it 1 time. There was no zaps once i installed it so I am hoping it is fine. I never touched any of the components just the edges of the MTB. I touched the cases metal like 70% of the time so it is grounded (i think) but the Motherboard was on tile floor.

My question is is it ruined?

Ok sounds good, what are the major components that would affect the Motherboard the most?

Ya there is nothing in my tower just the MTB. So it will be fine?

By components I meant components on the motherboard, not other parts used to assemble the system.

Your motherboard will be fine, but why don't you install the other components? You normally should have installed the CPU and memory on the motherboard before installing it in the case.
