Premature Win7 Installation

My motherboard is currently out for repair and I possess the 2 HDDs that I will be using with the mobo when it comes back, and I was wondering if I could install windows 7 64bit on 1 HDD with the computer I have that's working (and all my other programs) and then physically migrate it to the new computer when the motherboard comes back?

Or should I just wait?

Just wait since the change in hardware is going to set of the activation process again + all the drivers are going to be wrong for the new motherboard so reinstall would be recommended!
