Ok guys so finally ordering my components, however I am stuck with deciding which graphic card setup is best. Will be doing some heavy gaming at 1920 x 1080.

Specs:
Coolermaster HAF-X RC-942
CM GX 750W PSU
Antec Kúhler H2O 620
Intel Core i5 2500K
Seagate ST31000524AS Barracuda
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8GB (2X4)
Asus P8P67-M PRO Rev3, Intel P67
Crucial RealSSD M4, 2.5" SATA SSD

Currently looking at 6970, 6850 xfire or nvidia 460 sli,

any thoughts?

Go for 6950 2gb will give at par performance of 460 sli. You might also be lucky to mod it to 6970 by bios editing.

6970. Only because you won't have to worry about any games that don't have good CF/SLI scaling.

Either HD 6970 or GTX 570, for the same reasons stated as above.

I have a friend with a 6950 flashed to a 6970 however these cards are becoming harder to find. If you can find one however I highly suggest going that route. If this is not the case then I am going to have to disagree with the above posters.

I personally would go with the CF or SLI option. Unless your running your games at a insane resolution. As for games having problems with such this isn't really that common today and is normally fixed through driver updates anyways. The judgement between these two should go by what prices you can currently snatch them for. If by any chance you are able to get them for a price differnce so minimal than ask yourself if Physx is important to you and decide through that.
