Budget PC Gaming Rig Suggestions/Recommendations

Budget Range: $500-650 After Rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (gaming, Microsoft Office, surfing the internet with plenty of tabs, & watching movies)

Home Gaming PC so productivity/browsing (i have lots of tabs open and usually have iTunes and microsoft office open at the same time, don't know if that matters.) but I want to at least run games at a respectable price/performance rate. I play mostly anything modern, I don't really play the latest and greatest games only untill i see a drastic price drop on steam. I'm anticipating Diablo 3 and Battlefield 3, but I guess games from 2009 to 2011 so Bad Company 2, Crysis 2.

Parts Not Required: USB Mouse/Keyboard, Windows 7 64bit, 1080p TV, This Case, This video card which came out to $125 with promo code and rebate, & this RAM, and a 5 year old optical drive with DVD/CD burning capabilities, unless theres a deal on a blu ray burner.

Country of Origin: Florida, USA

Parts Preferences: No, as long as it meets my budget.

Space would not be an issue, i'm pretty good at managing it so anything equal to or greater than 500gb would be good.

So, there you have it. Feel free to suggest any alternatives/upgrades that fall within my budget. Except for the RAM and the the GPU.

For FAH I think this would be better.
Check out the $550 build here.

Then swap the i3 2100 for the i5 2400.
Then use the 560 GTX no ti.
This should bring you to some where around $630 before rebates.

The reason, you can fold better with the 560 GTX no Ti since you get CUDA, you also have a better card for 1920x1080. The quad will also help score you way more points that the i3 2100.

I'm completely sorry, I forgot to edit out F@H. I re-edited the importances of the build so that your recommendation could match my need.

Would you still recommend the i5 2400? I was strongly considering this option as my current build draft falls under my budget, just want some more funds put into it.

I would also like to add that the Video card was ordered this morning and I'm able to cancel it if you suggest otherwise. But for its price i strongly believe it would be enough.
