Is it worth the money

Right now i am not sure anymore if i should buy the new Plextor 12/10/32/S with SCSI interface and a SCSI-DVD ROM?

Suggestions?

If you're referring to a DVD-RAM, I'd recommend you to just get a CD-RW. CD-Rs are much more common and cheaper by far than DVD-RAMs. However, if you're into dealing with huge file sizes, then get a DVD-RAM.
As for a DVD-ROM, that's totally different from a CD-RW. DVD-ROM is read-only.

SCSI is more expensive than IDE and I personally have not felt it was worth it. I have had no problems with my IDE Plextor 12/10/32 drive.
The same is true for my 12/40 Toshiba IDE DVD drive.
