Need Help choosing the right GPU.

I watched some Battlefield 3 trailers on youtube... Now I want to upgrade my GPU real bad.

My build:
GIGABYTE GA-H55M-UD2H
I5 750 2.66GHZ 8MB Quad Core
Sapphire HD5750 1GB GDDR5
Kingston Hyper-X KHX1600C9D3K2/4GX
Western Digital 500gigs BLACK 32mo WD5001AALS
ULTRA LifeTime Series Pro 650W 135MM FAN


The GPU I need:
-250-450$ price range
-great cooling, Silent at idle and not too noisy during games.
-Resolutions: 1920x1080 monitor and 46" LCD TV, both 1080p

Which card should I buy ?
Do i need to upgrade my psu, or other parts to maximise the gaming experience ?

Your CPU is powerful enough.
I would go for a 6970.

6950 1GB is plenty I'd say for 1920x1080. My 4890 can drive every game I throw at it with more than 60FPS at 1920x1080@60Hz. I don't like motion blur though, lol.

I'd agree.The 6950 should manage 50+ FPS in BF3.Although the Frostbite engine is very CPU demanding so I would suggest O.C.ing to achieve higher FPS.
