I recently build a new pc parts listed below:

GIGABYTE GA-Z68Xp-UD3P

I5-2500K Sandy Bridge

CORSAIR H80

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB 1600

EVGA GTX 580

CORSAIR Gold AX850

SAMSUNG Spinpoint 1TB 7200 RPM

ASUS 24X DVD Burner

Corsair Graphite Series CC600TM Mid-Tower

ASUS VE258Q Black 25"

I built this with the help of some Forum members and was told that the 850w PSU would be enough to run a second gtx 580 in the future. I would just like some confirmation from the community regarding this. thank you for your help :)

More about : psu question

1st off, Thank your for your quick response :)
I have my CPU currently at 4.5GHz and my 580 at 900Mhz. i would prob. over clock the cpu a bit more. Now, what i am thinking (hoping) is that having 2 580s, there wont be a need to OC them as much to get great fps. What do u think?

Yes having 2 580's in SLI will improve performance, some games more than others.

My suggestion would be to run them at default for a while to check performance, heat output and stability.

Enjoy. :D
