GA-X58A-UD7 ver 1.0

Hello All


I have a strange problem, I have a GA-X58A-UD7 ver 1.0 motherboard which has a Hybrid silent pipe module.
Well before I could install the Hybrid silent pipe module, I lost the four screws. The really annoying thing
is these really clever people used a nonstandard screw size. Nearly everything in computers uses
standard sizes but NO these people at Gigabyte had to be different. What were they thinking!


My question is anyone know what size are these screws for attaching the Hybrid silent pipe module to the motherboard.
Please help!!!!!!

Your best bet would be to contact Gigabyte support and ask them to send you some new ones. They may even do it for free (minus shipping of course)

Well at first they did not want help, but then wanted $8.80 plus 60cents for shipping for 4 screws, but they did not tell me the size of the screws. Their charge seemed rather excessive, that's $2.20 per screw, that is price gouging. At this price I don't think they wanted to help me. So far I have found very few useful answers here to my questions.

That price is rather ridiculous...

You can try escalating it to a supervisor, but technically that is not covered under the warranty.
