So... ive been thinking. In the future i would like to upgrade my PC but have been battling in my head as to which route to go. Im looking for suggestions on either upgrading my motherboard and going with a crossfire setup (2 R6850's) or going the single GPU route with one GTX 570 to maybe even 590 in the future. My setup is as follows:

ASRock H61-VS mobo | Core i5-2500 | 8GB Corsair XMS 1333 | MSI Radeon 6850 | Antec Earthwatts 650W | Corsair NOVA 60 GB SSD | 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 | Windows 7 Home Premium

Now i know that some games (albeit few nowadays) do not support crossfire and i am willing to oversee that issue for a non biased opinion.

I figure they will be about the same cost, about 350 for GTX 570 and say about 150 for new mobo and 200 for another 6850. So.... What would you do? Any opinions are appreciated!

I was thinking that also, but would i really gain much? USB 3.0 is pretty much useless right now, SATA 6 GB/s wouldnt matter to me because i would be keeping the same 3 GB/s HDD's and such. And i dont really have a use for a PCI slot. I know its such a tough question!!

I'd get a z68 mobo, get a 6950.
then heres the timeline for GPUs, each new line is when you start to get low fps
1.) the first 6950(#1)
2.) get new GPU(#2)
3.) Crossfire #2 and #1
4.) undo CF and get new GPU(#3), retire 6950
5.)CF #3 and #2
6.) undo CF and get new GPU(#4)
7.) so on and so forth
