Motherboard Dead?

Whenever I turn on the power supply, only my motherboards LED's for the start, overclock, and reset buttons light up. No fans, nothing. I don't think this is a PSU problem because I've gone though 3. What does this mean? I'm in dire need of help.

  1. You can pull out the motherboard battery (with the power supply unplugged) to reset the bios; could be the board or cpu; most likely the board. You can start troubleshooting by unplugging all the drives, which aren't needed to get a post screen.
  2. If your CPU is less than 500 watts then that could be your problem.

The cmos battery should not be left out for more than 10 seconds, it is only in extreme cases that you need to do that, anyhow.
