How to change wireless card on a hi grade va250d laptop

Hello, my name is darrell i have a hi grade va250d laptop with windows vista and for some reason my wireless network wont connect or pick up virgin media internet please help

Does your wireless adapter detect anything ? Does it detect your Virgin router ? If you can at least detect the router, problems with connecting are usually to do with wireless mode, wireless security and range/reception.
