Hey

I have just bought a new CPU, GPU, mobo and ram. I hadnt intended upgrading my case but after fitting all the components its a real squeeze. With the design of my current case I can barely fit the MSI r6870 Hawk in there, its right up against the hdd's which means the sata cables are bent sharply and very little room.

So Im looking for advice on a good case in or around the £40 mark. I would like a case with plenty of room as I will go crossfire in a year or so, space is the main priority. Im not really into flashy windows or LED's but I would like a case that has that nice matt black colour inside.

Id appreciate any suggestions anyone has, especially if you currently own a case that fits my criteria.

I have found these two, any thoughts on these?

^+1 Yep the 430 is a decent budget case.
My most recent build was in the 430.
Good quality at a low price.
Space would be limited for xfire imo.

Hey buddy

Thanks for all the information you provided. So you own a 430 and you think its a pretty good case? Ive seen people complaining about cable management, whats your thoughts? I do try to keep cables tidy but its not a major concern.

You dont think id fit two graphics cards in there though?

Yeah the 430 is a nice case with great features for a very low cost.
However like all cases it has it's shortcomings.
Space is limited height wise it's a little short(cut off)space from cpu socket to top panel.
It wouldn't be my choice for dual gpu's.
I think it would be too tight for your plans.
Worked out fine for me because i used a semi-modular psu and a single gpu.
My set-up is listed under my Avatar in config.
If i were you i'd have a hard look at the other cases i linked.
The BitFenix looks great imo.
The NXZT has usb 3.0 and nice features too.
All three of the other cases have larger interiors and better cable management cut-outs.
Especially if you have a fixed cabled psu.
The Antec and NXZT come with two stock fans including 140mm top exhaust.
