I'm looking to spend $500-$600 building a gaming pc that can play 95% of new games for the next 3 years at a good frame rate. Let me know what you guys suggest. Here is my current idea for $530:

God no one will bother clicking through all of them! Go read this first please: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261222-31-build-advice

I suggested this for someone:

Mid $500 Bulldozer Ready

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 $120
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103808

Mobo: ASUS M5A97 AM3+ AMD 970 $108 shipping included
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131767

Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 2x2GB DDR3 $37
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277

GPU: PowerColor AX6770 1GB DDR5 $100 after MIR and shipping
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131434

HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 $60
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185

Case: Rosewill Challenger $50
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153

PSU: Antec EarthWatts 500W $60
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371035

Optical: ASUS 24X DVD Burner OEM $20

If you want Intel.. go find a core i3-2100k (best gaming for that price) Shop microcenter if possible and then find a H67 for around 70-80$. The build I suggested is around 550 and is AM3+ backward compatible with AM3 and ready for bulldozer :) The GPU is a 6770 you can spend more and get a 6850 for around 130 after MIR. I don't recommend sli since it can become a hassle lol.

I disagree with the 1st build you put together and the 3rd one. Mainly because the 470 runs hot and consumes lots of power and you don't have the right motherboard.
Manu did respond to your post. He told you that you were using the wrong MB.

Please fill this out to better help us help you.

As far as builds concern, you can check out my $550 build here.

Instead of getting the cards I recommend, swap the card for a 560 Ti that should bring you to a total of about $590.

The effort it has taken all of you to write that you don't want to click on the links is above the effort it takes to actually do it. Why is it that everyone acts like clicking on 5 links is like moving the stone henge.

It's easier if you identify the parts for us so we can look for better alternative instead of having to go through every link just to see what they are. It's a little extra effort but you're the one coming here for help so may as well make it easier for us to help you.
