Core i3 2100 recognizes only 1 core??

Hello everyone,
As far as I know this CPU should have 2 cores and 4 threads, but this CPU-Z screenshot I took tells me different:

I've tried setting the "Active Cores" in the BIOS from "Auto" to 2, didn't change it.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling CPU-Z and it didn't change either.

Is it a problem in CPU-Z or is my CPU/Motherboard/something else bad?

oh, and btw: was this actually decreasing my performance? or was it just visually?

Any more problems dont hesistate to ask.

Concerning performance i am afraid i cant answer that.I havent actually encountered this problem first hand so this was just a thread that i remembered some time back.
