Intel hyperthreading

Had this idea, what if Intel replaced hyper-threading with an atom core. like Intel took a quad core i5 and replaced two of the cores with special atom cores making an i4 placing it between an i3 and i5. It could also benefit notebooks, like if your just doing simple web browsing or typing a document, the atom cores could be used while the i5 cores are disabled till needed to increase battery life.

No need. SpeedStep already downclock the cores for battery saving.

Also, packaging cores of different microarchitecture into 1 processor will be difficult.
