Hi , I am attempting to build an PC specifically for high quality games. Basically, a gaming computer but i'm also on a tight budget and noticed the components I want to use for building such a computer is a too much for me to handle so I was wondering if these substitutions would let high end games pass by smoothly;

Cheaper suggestions that will perform the same(or even better) for replacing some components are welcomed with open arms.I would like to spend 500 -600 dollars on this even though, sadly, when I summed out the total cost it was a little bit above 1000. So.. suggestions and where to buy it for a handsomely low price would be a great great big help. Also, please leave a detailed explanation of why I should replace the component with your suggestion. It would help an inexperienced, novice such as I greatly.
OH, and one last question, would these components run smoothly on games such as Half Life 2 or All Points Bulletin: Reloaded?
Thanks in advance!
