Hello,
I have a DELL OPTIPLEX 780 2QUADQ9400 SFF (SMALL FACTOR ..OR SIMILAR)
Planning to change the graphic card to an ATI HD4350 I was looking for advice if could get in trouble (drivers , Temperature or compability).
My power supply is a 250 W , memory RAM is 3gb , Im not planning using Blue ray so its only for getting a better view on the monitor.
Soft is XP 64 Bits
Can some one help me with some advice on this decision?
Thanks
Eduardo

What are you replacing? I can't see a 4350 being any better than what you have now.

can you fit a more powerful psu in that Dell? that would give you more options on a gpu and geek is right, a 4350 is not much better than what you have

DELL is well known for using propreitary power supplies much like HP epecially with their low profile systems.

For power and likely thermal the 4350 will work just fine but making sure there are plenty of air flow in the case will greatly help if there are any thermal issues. You can also try a more modern card like a 5450 with that unit.

i have a 780 optiplex DT version with a q9650 quad chip and 16 gigs of ram. i plan on upgrading the PSU to 300watts. what are my options in terms of getting the highest quality video card for it? on dell, their highest graphic cards are 1g geforce gt330 and the ati 512mg radeon hd 4550. are these the best i can get or i can go higher if i'm upgrading my psu? any tips/info will be greatly appreciated.
